are you going to make panattone for the holidays??

Kate - yeah, I am! Im going to take a break from the different regions for a week around Christmas and do a week of traditional holiday recipes - including Panettone!

so happy to see that you posted our recipe! This is a a very traditional, simple dry dessert - I love bright berry jam on top! Totally agree that it is best served with tea, coffee or hot chocolate!

This really is a great recipe; thanks for providing the original.  Next time I make it I will have to try the berry jam on top.  I tried it with a simple icing made from powdered sugar, water, and raspbery jam, but berry jam sounds like it would be perfect as a breakfast cake. Thanks!
