It's time to gear up for the holidays, which means tons of food and cooking. For many Italian-Americans, this means adhering to the tradition of having seafood on Christmas Eve in the for of the Feast of Seven Fishes. As its name implies, this feast demands seven different seafood dishes. The actual dishes vary from family to family, but often feature things like baccala, shrimp, eel, mussels and calamari. I suppose my family adhered to the seafood rule to an extent, as we always had Stuffed Shrimp for dinner on Christmas Eve, but I have never actually been a part of the Feast of Seven Fishes. So, I'm calling on you. Does your family stick to this tradition? If so, what do they serve?
